Frequently asked questions

Can I convert RAR or 7Z to ZIP?

No. The current tool accepts ZIP, TAR, and TAR.GZ inputs. It can create 7Z output from ZIP.

Are very large archives supported?

Processing is limited to 2,000 file entries and 512 MiB of uncompressed file data. Archives above those limits are rejected.

Are archive filenames and folders preserved?

File paths are used when files are repacked. Empty directories and archive metadata may not be preserved.
